Whoa! I totally forgot I even had a blog! :) Well I guess maybe I'll post then......I'm still me and well its great. I've decided to take up yoga. Wii yoga that is. School is pretty sweet and I've met lots of amazing, crazy, fun, and just plain awesome people. :) I found that I like cooking (depending on the recipe), thanks to foods class. I've learned to eat interesting foods in the morning because of that class.

I'm very ready for summer and of course (hopefully) a few horse rides. Most of all, I miss my flip flops!!! I'm excited for the upcoming wedding! :) SO excited to have Breanne joining the family. It's been a blast taking their engagement pictures and hopefully we can find some good ones for announcements and stuff. I now have 11 nieces and nephews; 5 nephews, 6 nieces, and a new one on the way! :) I've read some pretty amazing books as well. The Host by Stephanie Meyer is one that I would DEFINITELY recommend! I'm in the process of reading the Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. The Hunger Game series is another very very good saga. Now for movies.... :) well I love the new Alice in Wonderland, When In Rome, anything to do with things like the Renaissance time, Despicable Me, How to train your dragon, Tangled, and just about anything Disney.

I've just started a program at the hospital. Sponsored by the boy scouts of America (oh joy ;) ), the hospital invites youth to come and explore the different jobs to deal with the medical field. I've only had one meeting but I have to admit it was pretty interesting and fun. However, I got my glucose tested and my poor finger still hurts! I feel bad for the people that have to take it everyday! :( I learned about all the sugars in sodas and the fats in foods, learned about blood pressure, radiology, learned the approximate age of my lungs (and I'm proud to say my lungs are younger than 25! ;D), I learned where in the world all the important organs go (it's a good thing is was only a doll because I'm afraid if it was a real patient, they would of died...).

So far I've had a constant GPA of about 3.85-3.99 and made Gold on honor roll. I learned to day that my flexibility is above healthy.....WHAT IN THE WORLD???? Since when is flexibility measured as being healthy or not? Whether or not that's correct, I was glad to know that my flexibility is "healthy." I'm also two and 1/2 quarters deep in a Spanish class. I'm suppose to be learning this but I'll be honest....I'm failing at the learning it part. I'm enrolled in THE slowest moving algebra 2 class. I have a pretty good US history class. I'm being challenged by my biology class but it gets better everyday. and last but not least seminary....haha just kidding. Seminary is pretty fun. Their are some interesting people in that class but who says that's a bad thing. No sports for me. I just go and make the student section look one person bigger.

There! I posted and its a long post....sorta :)

High School

This year I get to start high school, despite that mom and dad don't like the idea. I've been extremely nervous to go to a new school, with a lot more people, with new people (as well as people I've went to school with since Kindergarten), but most of all I'm nervous that I'm going to get lost. My nerves were mostly calmed when my mom handed me a letter from the school telling us that we would be having an orientation for just our grade so that we could get use to finding our classes and get to know the teachers a bit. Despite the fact that school 'sort of' starts three days before the rest, I'm stoked for orientation! :)

Yet another problem. . . . .

On September 6Th I got a very painful ache in my lower back. I didn't really think much of it since I had been helping Grandpa Curtis put sides on his water tower. We were camping again so I took an Advil and waited. It returned the next day and still I thought nothing about, but on the 10Th I'd had enough of the pain and my mom made me an appointment with a chiropractor.

After a full examination he took so x-rays and sent me on my way to return the next day. When I returned and saw my x-rays, it kinda scared me to see what I saw. My neck and spine aren't in too great of shape. My spine is somewhat a backwards S just not as much curve, I have one vertebrae that is slightly tilted, a bone in my lower back that is supposed to be connected that isn't, my neck doesn't have the curve that it should, my left leg is about 1/4 of and inch shorter than my right, and my right hip and shoulder are higher than my left. The first day when I saw my x-rays he told me that my lower back and neck were swollen. So mom got to torture me with homemade ice packs 5 times. I now have to go 3 times a week so I can be adjusted.

On August 8, 2009, Stetson and I went to Vans Warped Tour. It was kinda fun. We saw one band that we like called "We The Kings." They're freaking AWESOME!!!!! They are a really cool band. Bayside was the big band that came this year but we didn't stay for it. After "We The Kings," we were bored so we decided to come home.
As we were coming out of Heber, we passed at most 30 Ferrari's! Red one, blue one, yellow one, red ones, black ones, silver ones. They were pretty :D!

Stetson, his friends and I all sat outside the theater for 5 and 1/2 hours to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. When we showed up we were close to the end of the line and there weren't to many people there. By at least 10 o'clock a lot of people were there but for some reason they were all in front of us. When they open the theater, they wanted everyone in a single file line. Well for a little bit we were father up than where we were before and then they moved us back. We were almost backed up all the way to the end of the street and then we moved up and were pushed back again. Finally at 11:30 we were seated in the theater.

During those five hours, we ate pizza drank pop, played games, laughed, talked, quoted movies and Youtube videos, and laughed some more. Between Fara and Kelton we were all laughing. Our group decided that they need water and bathrooms and now, so they left and right after they did, the line started moving, really fast. After they raced back, the line stopped, so we decided to play the water bottle game. You have to flip a water bottle and try to get it to side up right. You have to have the perfect amount of water in the bottle and just enough force. Let say most of the group could do it but Jacob really struggled. All together, midnight movie showings are a blast!

The movie it's self was pretty good. Stet's friends said it is one of the better movies of the Harry Potter saga, but I didn't care for it to much. I guess I should have reread the sixth book.

Executive Office

At school we were having elections for executive student body government. They gave us the chance to get students to sign a petition so that you could run for office if you were eligible. In the beginning we have a boy and a girl running for President, one boy running for Vice President, one girl running for Secretary, and one boy and me running for Historian. On Tuesday, since no one else had to hang up posters, the other boy and I hung up posters. Today, Monday, every one running had to do a skit. I helped my friend in hers and she helped me in mine. I'm excited to say that i'm the new Historian!!!!

We're off the go get Stetson!

11 days left and counting! My parents and I are going to Brazil for a week and we're bringing back Stetson. It's going to be so much fun. I'll be posting pictures when we get back and everything here is calmed down. Ha ha :) We'll be flying right into Manuas. As far as school, I'm missing 7 days of school (so much homework! well it's worth it). In my choir class, part of the my grade is earned from attendance. Being gone for 7 school days would probably bring my grade from an A to an F, which would not be good. So the teacher allows us to come in before we leave and get an assignment to make up the days we're gone. So I went into him and asked him if I could get an assignment and he told me no! I was about to argue when he told me just be prepared the tell the class (of over 40 kids!!!!) about my trip and that if I heard music, the compare it to some of the music we're singing. I've talked to some of my other teachers and they're giving me my homework when I get back. So possibly no homework for the trip!!! YAH!!! But lucky me, I'm missing core testing for school :(. So I'll have to make those up when I get back. . . . . . .

In Brazil we'll arrive at the end of the rainy season so hopefully it won't rain to much but I'm sure it's still going the be hot. As Stetson would describe the heat, "Imagine that your in the desert on the HOTTEST day of the year, now you build a fire and you sit in front of it." The heat will be interesting but nice in some ways. I'm hoping to get a really nice tan :) I think my mom said that it's going to be in the 80 degrees when we first get there!

Well it's still sport season. Track has started. YAH!!!!! I had my first practice today. It was to cold outside so we moved the long-jump mats inside. Everyone who wanted to be analyzed on their jumping after not practicing for a year was able to do that. The Coaches said that that was the most kids that had EVER been their for the first practice. There were about maybe maximum 50 kids!!!! I plan on running the 200 meter. I might go for the 100 meter dash and the hurtles but I'm not sure.

Basketball Season

So as you all may know its basketball season right now. We've played about 5-10 games and I'm sad to report my Varsity team has won none! J.V. has been doing so good, thanks to the Assistant Coach (who is by far fabulous). It's getting pretty frustrating and upsetting after losing game after game but we'll just have to keep trying our hardest. Most of us at least are trying to have some fun out of it, on the court and off
.

Jazz Game

On Saturday night (January 10) my parents and I went to the Jazz game. It was so fun. The Jazz played the Detroit Pistons and won 99 to 82. Carlos Boozer and Richard Hamilton didn't play due to injuries (Boozer had knee surgery and Strained quadriceps). Money Maker (Mehmet Okur) made a few 3-pointers. The Jazz started Derron Williams, Paul Millsap, CJ Miles, Ronnie Brewer, and Mehmet Okur. The Jazz won Tip-Ball and took the lead the whole game. Okur received four fouls in the middle of the third quarter and didn't play the rest of the game. The Pistons coach was jumping all over the place when his players got a foul or he didn't like the way the reffs were reffing. Sloan left his seat one time during the game besides quarters or half-time. My mom is holding one of the many cheersticks that were being wacked that night. That night we even saw the Bears Crew "Dunk Team" sponsered by McDonalds. These guys do some pretty insane stuff. They jumped and flipped over the Nu Skin Jazz Dancers. They ran, jumped, flipped, spun, and dunked it. After their act was over they chucked one of the bballs they used into the crowd above us and it landed on someones drink, so what they were drinking flew onto the crowd below. During the whole game no one got hurt, I say it's becasue I was there :). During half-time and time outs minigames were played (Deal or no Deal, Special section of the night, Special seat, and the fourwheeler game). The game was so much fun, I can't wait to go again. :)

These are my Christmas cookies this year. Mom and I tried again and again to try and not make them look like Lake Michigan. The first time we put them in the oven (keep in mind we have cooked these for two years) 3 minutes into cooking them, they had spread out, thinned out, and covered the entire pan with burnt crisp cookies. luckily the very last batch turned out just about perfect. (Stupid Cookies!) On the top I have my beautifully wrapped (frosted) present with blue icing and M & M's. On the bottom I have a gingerbread man dedicated to our Survivor winner, Bob. I even has his little bow tie. We love you Bob!! I tried to write his name but as you can tell it's a little deformed. It took me awhile to make. Now that I think about I should have put all his "fake" idols around his neck. (I still laugh every time I see Randy. That had to have been the best tribal EVER!!! Whoa go Bob (oh and Sugar)) Since Bob won Survivor, I've decided that "Gingerbread Bob" is going to be the last cookie eaten so he will be the last surviving cookie. :)

New House

My family and I finally moved into our new house! :) Yah!!! Its great (we don't have channels on our TV though, so it gets kinda boring). We have a long that goes on for forever Just kidding. It's going to be the Hall of Pictures. (Yah. More pictures! Stupid cameras.) The family room is really big though it's awesome. I love the kitchen to. I love my room now. I put stuff up today (you can see the floor, its amazing huh Ryan and Stacia) so now I have boxes in my closet with all the stuff I don't know what to do with it. I want to paint both my room and bathroom. I'm not much of a has-to-match person but the paint that's in here and the curtain match WAY TO WELL and then the carpets a purple color in the sunlights. They are tying in better with furniture.

Basketball Team

WHOA WHO!!!!!!! On November 26, 2008, after waking up for three days and 5:30 in the morning for try-outs, I made to Helper Junior High Lady Rams basketball team! :) We got two new coaches this year, Coach Martinez and Coach Pint. I can't wait for the season to start. It'll be fun (at least I hope so). Basketball is always fun, so I'm excited to get started.

HaLlOwEeN

For Halloween my friends and I went as Alvin and the Chipmunks. I have no clue why I got to be Alvin :D. Brook was Simon and Kayla was Theodore. We made the perfect trio. At Helper's Halloween dance it was the "Trio" plus a banana! It was so fun! Brook even sounds like a chipmunk. When I made the costume, I just painted a red shirt and I didn't put anything in between so I had another A on my back! Lol :)

He's so cute! This is my future dog! I love huskies especially their blue eyes. Their eyes are so pretty. I love their fir to, the color. They seem like really nice dogs too.

I love this picture and it's so cute! The puppy is so cute. I love big dogs!! I'm gonna get one when I get older!

Crzy good! Emily and I decided to take some crazy pictures on one of the rare occasions they came down. Rachel took the picture for us. None of us could stop laughing! is was fun!

And this is my is my fabulous munchkin. In this picture Tally got a candy bar from Grandpa and Grandma Morris and absolutely LOVED it! She was covered by the time she was done. She just turned 1 on the 2nd.
My wonderful niece and nephew, Emma and Lucus. My first phone call when they said,"Hello Aunt Deidra." I was very excited. I miss them all and hope to go out there sometime.

My new nephew, Lucus. I can not wait to meet him. I'm so happy for Micheal and Claire and Emma. I'm so excited to meet him.
